Property and leasehold details

For a purchase, include the property address and estate-agent contact as soon as they are known. If the property is leasehold, note the remaining lease term, current ground rent, service charge and any known major works. Your solicitor will check the legal detail; the figures also belong in the affordability conversation.

Check your credit record before applying

A full report can help you spot address differences, unknown accounts, payment markers, defaults, judgments or searches that need an accurate explanation.

This is a partner link. A report or score does not guarantee mortgage eligibility, and Jack does not control the provider’s service or current terms.

Share sensitive documents safely

Do not attach passports, full bank statements, tax records or medical information to an initial website enquiry. Begin with a short outline. If detailed documents are needed, use the secure sharing method agreed for your case.

Need a solicitor?

Jack can help you prepare a purchase, sale, remortgage or buy-to-let brief and request quotes. Compare the written scope, likely extras, lender-panel position and service—not only the headline fee. You appoint the independent legal firm directly.
