UK due-diligence coordination

Complex UK property and business decisions often involve separate legal, tax, surveying and finance workstreams. I can coordinate the requested information and keep dependencies visible.

One due-diligence list, clear professional ownership

The engagement sets out the decision being considered, documents requested, the professional responsible for each opinion and the deadline. I maintain the action log, highlight gaps and organise follow-up without replacing the experts who provide formal advice. This is particularly useful where the principal or decision team is overseas.

Bring the project together

Choose the support you need and build a short brief to discuss with Jack.

Agree the work before it begins

The first discussion establishes the objective, the people involved and the immediate decision. We then confirm whether I can help, what input is needed from other professionals and how updates will work. Any scope, fee or referral arrangement is explained before proceeding.

What to prepare

  • Decision and proposed transaction
  • Due-diligence list and data room index
  • Appointed professionals and contacts
  • Open questions and dependencies
  • Decision timetable and reporting recipients

You do not need every document before saying hello. Start with a short outline; detailed or sensitive records should follow through an agreed secure route.

Before you proceed

Coordination does not certify documents, property condition, title, valuation, tax treatment or investment suitability. Each appointed professional remains responsible for their own work.

Your questions, answered

What should I send before a consultancy discussion?

Share the objective, current position, decision-makers and any immediate deadline. A concise brief helps establish whether coordination, UK representation or an introduction would be useful. You can explain the broad requirement first and agree a secure route for detailed information later.

How are deliverables and fees agreed?

The work should have a written scope setting out what will be done, what it depends on, reporting arrangements and fees. If the brief changes, the scope should be reviewed. An initial conversation does not appoint anyone to make investment decisions or enter into contracts for you.

Can consultancy run alongside a mortgage enquiry?

Yes, where the actual requirements fit, but the engagements remain distinct. Mortgage and protection advice is provided through Mortgage Force (UK) Ltd. Consultancy has its own agreed terms and does not replace regulated investment, legal or tax advice.

Scope described for initial enquiries. Any engagement is subject to a separate written agreement.
