The commercial arrangement

A share of the fee.
Clear terms from the start.

Qualifying introductions can earn you an agreed percentage of the completed-case fee actually received. We confirm the arrangement before you begin referring.

The percentage

Agreed with you.

The share is set in a written introducer agreement. There is no universal percentage promised on this page.

The fee basis

Defined in writing.

We identify exactly which received fee is eligible, and any exclusions or adjustments. The share is not a percentage of the client’s loan.

The payment point

A qualifying completion.

The case must complete and the eligible fee must be received. Payment timing, cancellations and any repayment terms are explained in the agreement.

Participation and commercial terms are subject to the advice firm’s acceptance and the permissions and professional rules relevant to your role. Referral remuneration is disclosed to the client before the introduction. This page is an invitation to discuss terms, not a payment contract.

A useful extension of your service

For professionals
who know their clients.

You identify a genuine need and make the connection. The individual advice relationship remains between the client and the advice firm.

Property developers, business advisers and other professional contacts can also ask about a suitable relationship. Your own professional rules may affect whether you can receive a referral fee.

From introduction to completion

Keep the handover simple.

No need to collect passports, bank statements or a full mortgage application on Jack’s behalf.

  1. 01

    Agree the relationship

Discuss your firm, the clients you support, the permitted scope, remuneration and the written introduction process.

  2. 02

    Let the client choose

Share Jack’s details, or make a minimal introduction with the client’s express permission. Explain any referral benefit first.

  3. 03

    Jack handles the advice

The client speaks directly with Jack. Any progress updates to you follow the client’s agreed permission.

  4. 04

    Confirm the qualifying fee

If the case completes and the eligible fee is received, payment follows the agreed terms and records.

Your role

Recognise a need, make a permitted introduction and keep your own professional relationship with the client.

Jack’s role

Assess the enquiry, explain the advice scope and fees, and handle the mortgage and protection work through Mortgage Force (UK) Ltd.

Do not recommend a mortgage product, promise acceptance, handle client funds or present yourself as Jack’s adviser. The permitted scope of an introduction is agreed before the relationship starts.

Before we start

Your partnership questions.

What percentage would I receive?

We agree the percentage with you after discussing your role and the relationship. The written terms state the fee basis, qualifying cases, payment timing and any adjustments before referrals begin.

Is a fee paid for every introduction?

No. An enquiry, application or mortgage offer alone does not create a payment entitlement. A case must meet the agreed completion and fee-receipt conditions.

Can I receive updates about my client?

Yes, where the client has agreed to the relevant update. We can define useful milestones without sharing the underlying financial information or advice unnecessarily.

Does my client have to use Jack?

No. The client remains free to choose an adviser, compare services and decide whether to proceed. A referral fee must not be used to pressure them.

Can I refer specialist or international cases?

You can raise a potential enquiry about residential, buy-to-let, international or specialist property finance. Jack first reviews whether the case and introduction fit the available service. Lending and case acceptance are not guaranteed.

What should I send to get started?

Your name, role, organisation, the types of clients you support and how you would like to work together. Please do not include client details or documents in the initial partnership enquiry.
