Ways to engage

A defined project, retained support or one UK task.

The format follows the decision and reporting need. Scope, authority, deliverables and fees are written down before work begins.

01

Focused UK assignment

A meeting, viewing, introduction or report with a specific brief, deadline and output.

02

Defined project

Coordination across a transaction or market-entry workstream, using one action log and agreed reporting.

03

Ongoing UK support

A retained scope for recurring representation and follow-up, reviewed against agreed priorities.

Typical outputs

Useful work you can see.

  • Written meeting or viewing brief
  • Action and dependency log
  • Professional introduction summary
  • Decision paper or project update
  • Regular report with owners and dates
  • Escalation of unanswered questions
Starting well

Your first 30, 60 and 90 days.

The exact programme depends on the engagement. This framework keeps a longer project practical without pretending every mandate is the same.

  1. 30

    Define and organise

Confirm objectives, decision-makers, authority limits, advisers, source documents and immediate priorities.

  2. 60

    Coordinate and test

Run the agreed meetings, introductions or information requests; surface blockers and record choices.

  3. 90

    Report and reset

Summarise progress, unresolved risks and the next scope. The client retains every commercial and investment decision.

Consultancy does not include regulated investment advice, legal or tax advice, construction certification or handling client money. Mortgage and protection work is a separate engagement provided through Mortgage Force (UK) Ltd.
Your UK project, brought together

From an idea
to a useful brief.

Choose what you need. See how the work could fit together, then send me an outline to discuss.

Start with your objective, the people involved and your timescale. We can agree the right scope in a conversation.

Discuss my project ↗

An outline for discussion, not a quote or agreed engagement. Scope, availability, authority and fees are confirmed in writing. Independent professionals remain responsible for their advice; you retain the decisions.

Your consultancy journey.
Six clear stops.

Choose your goal, then select a stop to see my role, your part and what you receive. This explains the process; it is not a live project tracker or a fixed timetable.

  1. Share the objective

We start with the UK task, your current position and the decision you need to make.

What you receive: A short outline of the objective and the first questions to resolve.

  2. Agree the scope

I set out the proposed work, deliverables, responsibilities, reporting rhythm and fees before you decide.

What you receive: A written brief including exclusions, target dates and agreed expenses.

  3. Organise the people

I map the contacts, access arrangements, information requests and dependencies for the agreed work.

What you receive: A contact and action plan, with named owners and the next milestone.

  4. Attend the UK task

I attend the agreed meeting or visit, put your questions to the relevant people and record what was observed or said.

What you receive: A factual attendance note, permitted photographs if agreed, and unanswered questions.

  5. Review the position

I summarise what changed, what remains unresolved and which points need a decision or specialist advice.

What you receive: A concise progress update, open-issues list and decisions needed.

  6. Handover or continue

We review the agreed outputs, transfer open actions and decide whether to close the assignment or define the next phase.

What you receive: A final summary, outstanding actions and any separately agreed follow-on brief.

Start with your goal, the people involved and your timescale.

A clear role, from the outset

Your UK project.
Someone joining the dots.

A property purchase, an acquisition brief or a UK business relationship can involve several separate advisers. I help coordinate the agreed meetings, information requests and reporting around the people responsible for the advice.

You can start with a single UK task, agree a defined project or discuss ongoing support. The work and fees are confirmed before it begins.

Useful work you can see

A clear brief.
A record you can act on.

We choose the outputs around the task. A single visit does not need the same reporting as a project with several advisers.

Before the work

The objective, named decision-maker, tasks, exclusions and agreed fees. It also sets out access, target dates and who receives updates.

Your action register

Each task has an owner, requested date and evidence status. Dependencies and overdue replies stay visible, alongside the decisions that need you.

What a useful update could look like

Objective: prepare for an overseas owner’s UK property review.

The format and frequency are agreed for your engagement. This example shows how evidence, uncertainty and responsibility remain separate.

Completed
Agent meeting held. Questions and responses recorded in the meeting note.
Awaiting evidence
Updated works estimate requested from the appointed contractor. No confirmed figure recorded yet.
Decision needed
Owner to confirm whether to instruct the surveyor on the proposed additional assessment.
Next review
Review the replies when received; raise any effect on the owner’s target date.
Everyone knows their part

One coordinated brief.
Clear responsibilities.

I help keep the work connected. The people with the authority and expertise make the relevant decisions.

I coordinate

Agreed attendance, information requests, introductions, action tracking and factual reporting. I flag gaps and seek your approval for changes.

You decide

You set the objective, approve scope and costs, appoint advisers and retain commercial decisions. We identify one authorised point of instruction.

Specialists advise

Solicitors, accountants, surveyors and other appointed professionals assess matters within their expertise and remain responsible for their advice.

What happens if the brief changes?

We record the new request and its effect on deliverables, timing and costs. Additional work needs agreement before it proceeds. The action log should show which items are in scope and which are awaiting approval.

What if information or access is delayed?

The missing input, responsible contact and affected milestone remain visible. We review what can still progress and whether target dates need changing. A target date is not a guarantee of a third party’s response.

How does an assignment finish?

We review the agreed outputs and hand over open actions with their owners. If more support would help, we agree a new or revised brief. Ongoing work is not assumed.

Start with a short conversation

What needs to happen
in the UK?

Tell me the task, where you are based and the date you are working towards. You do not need a finished plan.

  1. Share the outline. A few sentences about the objective and current stage.
  2. Discuss the fit. We clarify what you need and whether I can help.
  3. Agree the work. Scope, deliverables, authority and fees are confirmed before work starts.
